 Firearms Safety Policy Minimize

The Forest Lake Club makes firearm safety a top priority. If you intend to use firearms at the club ranges, you must sign an annual release and attest to your review and compliance with the FLC Comprehensive Firearms policy and regulations. Copies may be obtained at the front office and here on the FLC website.

 A review of the FLC Guest Firearms Safety Training Course is the first step to qualify to use firearms at the Forest Lake Club shooing ranges. You must also sign a liability release form and attest to your understanding and compliance with FLC Firearms safety regulations in order use a firearm at FLC ranges. Remember, SAFETY FIRST!

 

In order to hunt with a firearm at the Forest Lake Club, you must also sign an annual release and attest to your review and compliance with the FLC Comprehensive Firearms policy and regulations. Copies may be obtained at the FLC

office and are available here on the FLC website.   In order to participate in a FLC organized deer hunt, you must also attend a mandatory safety briefing before the opening of the rifle deer season.

 

This course is intended to provide a basic level of firearms safety information to guests who intend to handle/use firearms at the Forest Lake Club.  In offering this firearms safety course, the Forest Lake Club cannot make any guarantee or warranty about the safety of you or anyone else when your firearm is in use. The safe handling of your firearm is your responsibility.

 

Because the use of a firearm is a serious and continuing responsibility, the Forest Lake Club strongly encourages you to supplement this course with additional firearms safety education so that you can reduce risks to yourself, your family, and others.
