Fishing
The Forest Lake Club offers a fishing program that is bound to captivate the best fishing advocate. The club has three glacial lakes on the property ranging in size from 80 to 180 acres and a 2.3 mile section of freestone stream. The Lackawaxen and Delaware River are nearby for those desiring a more extensive angling experience. On each lake the club provides electric powered fishing boats to members and guests. A variety of wild game fish are available and one lake is stocked with 14” to 20”+ trout in the spring and fall. The stream is stocked in the spring with trout for fly fishing only. Limited angler pressure means the fish seldom stop biting. Children enjoy fishing from a boat or from the shoreline. The club offers fly fishing instruction and guides for fishing excursions and waterside picnics. Spin fishing equipment is available for members and guests who do not have their own. The club stocks a number of flies and artificial lures in its company store.
